Hometown: Waldorf, Maryland

Hailing from the “blue crab state”, Maryland, Kenyatta joined automätik with a diverse background in event management. Kenyatta’s career began within law firms, executing office-wide events and contributing to the overall employee culture. She also gained experience in logistics within hotel and nonprofit settings, where she found herself using her Pre-Law degree from Frostburg State University to examine and negotiate contracts. Managing several long-term projects, her creativity and attention to detail are visible in the precision and quality of her work.

Possessing a calm demeanor and solution-focused thinking serves her well in her career and personal life. When Kenyatta isn’t making sure all the pieces fit together at work, she enjoys planning trips with her soon-to-be husband, Sam, discovering new parks and restaurants in Houston, and listening to local live bands. Her love of tranquility and these hobbies sparked her to trade the fast-paced East Coast for the charm and hospitality of Houston, TX.
